Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Managing Partner to shape and execute financial strategies.
Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting, general ledger, and compliance.
Client Advisory: Deliver expert financial advice, including tax planning and business strategy.
Equity Management: Play a key role in managing financial assets and equity.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting processes and provide strategic insights.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and foster professional growth.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Process Improvement: Enhance financial processes for efficiency and scalability.

Portfolio Management (80%)

Year-End Accounts: Prepare and present accounts to the Managing Partner.
Operational Support: Assist in operational functions and client communications.
Client Visits: Conduct client meetings as needed.
Bookkeeping & Payroll: Supervise bookkeeping and ensure timely payroll processing.
HMRC Liaison: Maintain smooth client relations with HMRC.

Systems Management (20%)

Client Setup: Manage new client setup and data migration.
Daily Reconciliation: Ensure accurate live accounts through daily reconciliation.
System Improvements: Continuously improve financial systems and processes.
Team Facilitation: Lead meetings and ensure policy adherence.

The Ideal Candidate:

Chartered or Certified Accountant with a commercial mindset. Expertise with Xero and data migration. 3+ years managing client portfolios of 50+ accounts. Detail-oriented and autonomous. Legally eligible to work in the UK. Excellent written and spoken English.
