The Role:
As an M&E Technical Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of high-profile construction projects, delivering expert guidance to investors and developers. Your deep knowledge of Building Services and on-site experience will be invaluable in evaluating installations, reviewing technical data, and ensuring compliance with legislation. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical advice to clients, focusing on Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- Conduct technical due diligence, including desktop and peer reviews, identifying key risks in projects.
- Evaluate on-site installations and remediation works, ensuring they meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulations, ensuring clients receive the most up-to-date advice.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-quality results.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, offering clear insights and recommendations to project stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications (HNC/HND).
- A minimum of 4 years' on-site experience in Building Services, with a proven track record in Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of building safety requirements, legislation, and design guidelines.
- Strong technical skills, with experience in desktop reviews, report writing, and assessing installation works.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office and relevant engineering tools.
- A valid CSCS card and the flexibility to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
